The School

The East Bergholt Ballet School  offers ballet classes for children from 4 years of age through to young adults and mature "Swans".

The classes are usually held at the Constable Hall in Gandish Road, East Bergholt during academic term times.

We follow the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance and offer pupils the opportunity to enter for these exams when appropriate, if they wish.

The RAD syllabus is a carefully developed system of learning which children enjoy.

It introduces the balletic vocabulary in structured stages using a diverse selection of suitable and inspiring music matched with artistic choreography.

Students develop a good posture, strong technique and enjoy exploring a range of dances in each grade, developing musicality, coordination, presentation and rhythm.

Classical ballet also instils a sense of discipline, grace and etiquette which is rare in many activities today. 

 Classes are taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers who care about each child and who's aim is to give the best tuition and the best experience possible.

Teachers are insured, DBS checked and fulfil an annual CPD requirement.
